Acoustic rock ballads and other good songs to play acoustically for some extra cash on the weekends. And most importantly, to have fun.

Thank you! Have you been to Open Mic Nite at the Elks on Saturday evenings? There is alot of good talent playing for free up there. You might see someone there who would complete your interests. And no it wasn't obvious what you wanted. There's blues,country,gospel,barbershop,bluegrass,.......and even several kinds of rock-n-roll........motown......do-wop...see what I mean? I hope you find what you're looking for. Jim

Wanted: vocalist to work with rude, moody person who thinks entire world circles their own, specific interests and that other things don't exist outside of those interests therefor everything vague must be obvious because only their own interests matter. Help-wanted-writing-skills a plus.

I think Miles City could use a good death metal band.

I knew I should not have posted on this site as it would receive some waste of time comments. This is the last time I will respond as I will not waste my time with the sensless bickering that I have see on this site all too often. Funny how Mtgmen understood the very first post. Please do not respond and just move on okay. Best regards and have a good day.

Noel, I'd suggest that perhaps you should post this in the classifieds section of this site. You'd probably have fewer problems over there. Generally any post in this section is fair game for the morons.

Okay. Why don't you check out my classified ad also on this site and see if you are still interested. It has more information on what I am looking for. If so, we can get together in person to talk more about it. Thanks and have a good day.

Although I am quite proud of my pipes, GVC, singing 80s hair band power ballads is not my cup of tea.

Now a Buck Owens tribute band, I might be interested.

There are MANY GOOD vocalists out here. Who decides if we are good!
I personally do a superb rendition of Joy to the World.

Who decided That your singing is superb?
Top
Posted by Noel Allison (+18) 11 years ago
Simon Cowell decides. No really, just joking. I guess what I meant by good is some one that has a good range, chemistry and is comfortable playing in front of people. Like I can sing okay, but do not feel that I am a good enough main/lead singer.
Joy to the World by Three Dog Night, that is a killer song. If you would like to get together sometime, I will learn it and see how it goes.

Ha ha ha, this is turned into a funny thread!

Noel, you are a good sport despite the ribbing you have received here.

However, I suspect "Nancy Drew" is refering to the Christmas Carol, not the Hoyt Axton pop song.

Although....

....we can certainly dream about it.....

...Nancy Drew.....

........lay it on us!

JERIMIAH WAS A BULLFROG!!!

Jeremiah was a bullfrog, he was good friend of mine.
I never understood a single word he said but I helped him drink
his whine. He always had some mighty fine wine. Sing it Joy to the
world...all the boys and girls now , joy to the fishies in the deep blue
sea and joy to you and me.

And if i were the king of the world , i tell you what i would do. Id throw
away the cars and the bars in the world and id make sweet love to you.
Sing it now : Joy the the world , all the boys and girls , joy to the fishies
in the deep blue sea , joy to you and me.

Yah know I love the ladies , love to have my fun ... Im a hard knock
flyer and a rain bow rider ... a strait shootin son of a gun , i said a
strait shootin sun of a gun.

Joy to the world , all the boys and girls , joy to all the fishies in the
deep blue sea , joy to you and me.

Joy to the world , all the boys and girls , joy to the world joy to you
and me

Joy to the world , all the boys and girls , joy to the fishies in the deep
blue sea joy to you and me.

Joy the the world , all the boys and girls , joy to the world , joy to you
and me.

Joy to the world , all the boys and girls , joy to the world , joy to you
and me.

LOVE THAT SONG!!

I have no business being critical of anyone's singing , but since you put it out there for all to scrutinize ~ I think you were a little flat in some places, howdy!

Well Wendy, if you remember those cocktail bars where they had a piano player that sang songs as well as took requests from customers that was me....and yes, it was many many moons ago...toward the end of my career in that field, I was pregnant, and even had sequined maternity clothes LOL...

Wow Gunnar....you are intuitive. I was referring to the Christmas Carol as I was taught long ago to play the song on the piano by Esther Benson. She asked me to sing along. I have done my rendition at family get-togethers when we recall painful moments of growing up with many in a home!!! But I do love the song Joy to the World by isn't it 3 Dog Night. Never knew the words and due to this thread I can learn them and expand my show.

Joy to the World was written by Hoyt Axton. Three Dog Night did the most famous version.
