Is Earl Kelly the poet that was wounded (shot in the stomach but survived) in Vietnam? I think he was friends with my parents.

Is this the Earl Kelly of Gaslight fame? His brother was a priest. Classic Irish family. Great folks.

Hi Glenn: I have known Earl since the late '40s. Remember when you used to come over to Mattie and Albert Youngs place at 416 So. Jordan? I believe it was you and Willis that used to come over as you lived close to there. I used to babysit you boys occasionally when your mother had to work. I'm sorry to hear Earl is not doing well. I know that some of the boys have passed away.. How's Margie?
Is she still in California?

I remember Earl and the gaslight. I long for the days I used to stand by the cigarett machine and wish I had the guts to ask whats her name to dance. Good times just the same. Leif

I think I asked her to dance, she said yes, and later we both regretted it on a large scale.

Come to think of it I don't think it was dancing I asked her to do.

Glen, just because this little click doesn't remember your wonderful brother Earl, doesn't mean others don't. Most people don't realize what their lives have meant to others. I remember John and Betty, Willis and Arlene, Margie. You and your family have impacted my life in ways I can't even put into words. Thank you!
