Billings for Jobie

The sad news is that my top teeth still have not come in. The good news is that Mom said I can have my milk until they do.

The sad news is that no one in Miles City carries my brand of milk any more. The good news is that Big R West in Billings has it.

Once again, we are on my last bag of milk. We have approximately 10 days before I am out (which would make me very sad).

If anyone is making a Billings trip and would be willing to haul my monthly milk supply (3 50 lb. bags) back, please contact my Mom. She can be reached at 2324433 or 8520085. Mom will put the milk on her credit card and Big R will load it in your vehicle. Mom will unload it once it arrives in Miles City.

I very much appreciate your assistance.

Thanks so much. I'm hoping to find someone before then as Jobie will run out of milk approximately February 2. If I don't, however, I will be giving you a call.

Thank you so much to everyone who responded. We have a ride for my milk. Once again, we are so gratified by the kindness of Miles Citians.

This is a monthly occurrence because Mom cannot go because she has to take care of me (10-12 hours a day), her job, and things for my Granddad.

We may need your assistance for the next run, so please be on the lookout for our call for help next month (and the next month and the next . . .).

THANK YOU AGAIN!

I know people going to MC tomorrow. I don't know if they have room for 3 of them but perhaps one could tide you over for a bit.

Karen, now that he'll be turning 4 years old, why not buy him a cow and let him get his milk for free?

Oh wait...that's not how the saying goes

Nice in theory, Karla, but seriously doubt that a cow giving DuraLife flavored milk could be found. The last time (and only time) I tried to switch Jobie's milk, he spit out the new type and bit me (not hard, just enough so I knew I had misbehaved)! I learned my lesson.

Seriously, you are quite correct that the milk is an expensive proposition. On the other hand, what price tag do you put on what Jobie has given back. He has been phenomenal with people of all ages and abilities. One of our dreams was realized last winter when several groups of his friends from EMI were able to come to visit him. We had absolutely grand times together filled with much laughter and joy!

Jobie remains one of a kind as he still rolls over to have his tummy rubbed, plays with toys, doesn't mind being dressed up, etc. He still has a very serious carrot habit to go along with him milk habit, but I guess there are worse things.

As for the cow, he seems to have no interest in bovines, as he remains quite positive that he is a Black Angus Terrier (dog) or perhaps a person.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Karen, someone in the classifieds was looking for a companion for their horse. You might look into that as I know Jobie is one companionable little guy.
