So, Rep. Steve King (R-DUMBASS) wants to "solve the anchor baby problem" via statute because "it's easier that way".

Now, I may have spent most of my time in Mr. Partridge's American Government class watching game film and reviewing my blocking assignments, but I do seem to recall that you can't revise the Constitution via mere statute.

To whit:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
