Hundreds of people lined up at the Costco on Dimond Blvd. to meet Alaska's former governor. Sarah Palin stopped in Anchorage to sign copies of her second book "America by Heart."
The Costco manager said the line formed early, at about 6:00 a.m.
Heather Anderson, an Eagle River resident, said she will make sure to pass on her signed copies of the book to her children.
"I wanted the signed copy of the book because it's a part of history. It's not important for me to have it signed, but just the fact that she signed something that she did is like an imprint, a stamp," said Anderson.
The event was only open to Costco members.
Does the way Heather Anderson speak remind you of any other woman?
