Trial was in December 1951 started on 3rd. There are quite a few articles in Billings Gazette.
There was a 15 yr old boy Bungard that was part of the crime & gave details to law enforcement but not arrested because he was under 16. Mr. Donges, Evelyn's husband, was soldier in Korea at the time. Testimony by Bungard says Evelyn lured their intended robbery victim into the alley where the two boys beat him up & robbed him. The victim later died of his injuries.

Article saying the three 16yrs on run from Montana had been given a ride & later spotted by law enforcement. Tommy LaFave, Evelyn Williams, & Lillian Hirsch wanted for robbery & murder committed in Miles City.
