So the Republicans are voting for Bristol en masse! She is safe for another week although she was the worst dancer by a long shot!

ok..so what do you suppose it's costing Sarah to keep her daughter on Dancing With the Stars? I mean, seriously, she's had the lowest scores week after week. YET...again she is moving on to next week's semi-finals. So how much does it cost to hire a call center and have them all call in once a week to vote for Bristol? Or is it a Tea Party thing? We all know it's not based on her talent.

I am quite sure that this, and anything else, is not costing Sarah so much as a dime. She has her backers paying every red cent.

What a crock! I knew Bristol would be in the finals when they announced tonight that they had more votes last night than ever before in the history of the show! Brandy got sent home and Bristol stays. The crowd was booing. And yet Bristol again tonight made comments about how people must like her as she's still on the show! Is she really that naive? Her partner last night made a comment about all the talk about Sarah Palin and the Tea Party getting votes for Bristol and how it wasn't true. Right.

You watch the same TV as the Tea Party. Good liberals are tuning into Glee.

Glee was on at 7! I did watch it.

Websites promoted by Sarah to get votes for her daughter.

Right Kacey. As if nobody else pimps political websites.

Back on topic, she hasn't been doing all that badly. I've seen far worse and I hope she goes as far as she can.

Do you know how many of people it takes to have her advance week after week Kacey?

Sure some of the TP's are voting for her but so are a lot of others.

Voting for Bristol isn't a Tea Party exclusive.

BTW, scratch the first part of my first reply.

Please take a look at the article below. This shows what real emotion is like for one individual frustated by the fact that Bristol Palin is still on DWTS. LOL!!!

All it took was one performance, and Steven Cowan lost his cool. The 67-year-old man from Vermont, Wisconsin, had dinner, then sat down to watch Dancing With The Stars. Everything was fine until Bristol Palin came onto the show, then he lost his cool. Not only did he pull an Elvis and shoot his TV, but he did The King one better. According to police, Steven Cowan shot the television with a shotgun, threatened his wife with the gun, then got into an all-night stand off with police and the SWAT team, all thanks to Bristol Palin.

Cowan, who has bipolar disorder, was drunk at the time of the incident. Red-faced and screaming curse words related to politics (Bristol is former Vice Presidential candidate and wordsmith Sarah Palin's daughter), Cowan otherwise has no criminal record; he does have a long history of psychiatric treatment, and has been under financial stress lately, having recently turned control of his rental properties over to the family attorney.

"He scared the bejebees out of me," said 66-year-old wife Janice Cowan after the incident. Steven Cowan faces up to 10 years in jail if convicted. Given his clean record and history of mental problems, I imagine he'll get some kind of mandatory psychiatric treatment and be barred from reality television, but no real jail time.

Dunno. I have not watched a minute of Dancing With the Stars. Or American Karaoke for that matter.

Doesn't appeal to me.

I guess opinions vary, as they both appear to be highly rated shows.

Celebrity Boxing, OTOH, was awesome. They really need to bring that poop back.

Vanilla Ice v. Todd Bridges was a classic.

Maybe 10 years from now Bristol Palin can fight Tonya Harding. I would pay cash money to see that.

I don't watch the show either, but do like some quotes out of Sarah Palin's new book:

In her new upcoming book, Sarah Palin rails against "American Idol" for sending the wrong message to American children and accuses the show of hosting "talent deprived" contestants.

In leaked excerpts of the book, first published by the website "Palingates," the former Alaska governor asks "did you ever wonder where the producers of 'American Idol' come up with the seemingly endless supply of people who can't sing but are deluded enough to get in front of a national television audience and screech out a song anyway?"

Palin concludes in "America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag" that many of the contestants are "victims of the cult of self-esteem," although she admits that some of the contestants' ability, or inability, to carry a tune reminds her or herself.

Quite an interesting parallel.

Vulgar language is not a "mistake". Dropping an egg on the floor is a mistake. Vulgar language is a choice based on lack of character.

Could someone post the link to where to vote, plus the hours/time limits on when to vote?

I never, ever, plan to watch this program.....but if I can help to derail it off the airwaves forever, I am more than happy to join my teabagger brethren and vote for little miss BP.

I do not watch 'Dancing With the Stars' but I do watch a couple of other competition show. They all have a small brief disclaimer at the end, that the producers reserve the right to make final decisions of all eliminations. If Bristol Palin sucked and stayed on, it was likely their choice to keep her there because it kept Palin hater watching.
