I heard about this on NPR the other day. Amazing what they can do with technology these days. I would have to be convinced that it would taste good though. I've tried cooking with beer on various occasions and never been very impressed with it if you use a beer that's flavorful enough that you can actually taste it.

Personally, I would not want to be scalded by beer. Beer is my friend. Lets keep it cold.

Speaking of bacon, whatever happened to Bacon crackers? They seemed to have disappeared during the last few years. at least around here. You can still get Chicken in a Biscuit. I love meat-flavored crackers.

I had deep fried Coke at our fair and it was delicious. Probably about 87,000,000 calories per serving and there were 6 servings on the one plate, but yummmm! Delicious, but only a treat if you have it once a year. I got to watch her make it and that was interesting.

How positively pietistic of you.
Beer should be consumed cold. Just because we can deep-fry beer doesn't mean we should.

There are millions of Europeans who would disagree with you.

You'd probably be surprised how a hot beer tastes. Toss a can of Busch in a bonfire sometime - the ring around the lid is a weak spot, they blow off pretty clean. The resulting beer probably has no alcohol content and will be at least half empty after it blows, but the end product is something like hot cider. It's really not bad. The beer in the deep fried beer must not have time to get too hot if it still contains alcohol, it'd be worth a try.

Wendy...I was just thinking about those Bacon Crackers two nights ago and how I wanted some...weird.
I think they were called 'Bacon Thins' weren't they? Oval shaped, red edges and a lighter middle....so good!

Who would drink what was left of a can of beer after it exploded in a bonfire? Just saying!
