FUNDRAISER
Posted by remus (+65) 17 years ago
I have an idea. I think all of us MilesCity.com users should start a fund. We will call it the "Bonine telephone fund". It will be dedicated to buying all of the Bonines telephones so they can communicate to each other at their own will. This way we don't have to sift through the pointless dribble they post on this sight. What do you guys think?

I think instead, that we ought to buy them condoms.

Maybe the Bonine's should all change their usernames to something obscure and anonymous; Then their "pointless dribble" would blend right in with most everything else on MC.com and you wouldn't know it was one of us!!

Darn it-- I forgot, Richard; "Smile and wave boys, just smile and wave."

"I have an idea. I think all of us MilesCity.com users should start a fund. We will call it the "Bonine telephone fund". "

remus, what a novel idea!! We would be able to use that money to pay all of our internet bills and then we can sit here and bore you with our "pointless dribble" for free while we enjoy a good laugh when you cannot help but waste away your time responding to our enlightening and warped sense of Bonine humor.

"Bonine humor" -that should be posted over on Duncans thread about oxymorons

All I ask is that you share some of your precious "Bonine humor" with each other some other way. I'm tired of reading stuff I expect to be interesting, enlightening, or funny, only to find out it's some "obscure Bonine family reference". I understand that you are great in number and need to spend a lot of time catching up, but a public forum isn't the best place to take care of personal matters.

Anyway, you will be happy to know that donations to the "Bonine Telephone Fund" are pouring in and you will have those telephones in no time.

Make sure to send me the red one in case I have to send out the order from command central to execute "The Plan"!!

Remus: It's really too bad that you have adopted your present point of view. I would submit that if our usernames were anonymous or did not otherwise reflect the family name, that this would be a non-issue, as our participation on this site is not really that different than anyone else.

We do not and have not aired any personal family matters in this forum and we do not use it as a means of family communications. While our posts may be dry, sarcastic, witty, serious or (dare I say)humorous, we are all here for one reason. As a family and as individuals we all care about the old hometown. We all want to see Miles City continue to thrive and each of us, in our own way, wants to maintain ties to the roots we developed while in Miles City. You never know when we might be coming home!

Perhaps you should go ahead and keep the thousands that have been donated to the "telephone fund". The next time someone has a sale, maybe you can buy a sense of humor!

Hey, I like all those Bonines and glad to see they're keeping in contact. Just wish I could see Gary -- what to know what color his hair is now.

Guess it's just the fact that my mind is slightly warped but I have been highly amused by some of the Bonine "dribble". If the no holds barred m.c.com boxing club comes back on line I'll put my bets on the Bonine clan. Duncan seems to be holding his own quite nicely-boys I hate to tell you this but I think you've been outclassed.

This is just a speculation, but I think that john newcomer is definitely a Bonine. (Probably Duncan Bonine)

It is speculation. I know both and John Newcomer is not a Bonine. And Duncan is not a Newcomer either.

Ouch- what did the Bonine clan ever do to you? Don't insult them like that, Danny. The ones I've met have been far more normal people than I ever will be - knew Richard in high school- I was usually one of the guys in trouble with Mr. Michaels.

Let the fight of the Scottish clans begin. Broad swords anyone? Maybe the Christopherson's should join the Forum and we could have an old SHHS rumble between the two largest Catholic families in MC history. It good to have you all on board, it gives the MC forum some more conservative opinions.

Does the amount that I have paid for my phone bill count towards a donation? Is this donation tax deductable?

Sorry Duncan, I was just kidding. The last thing I want is to get on the bad side of the Bonine Clan. That's like taking on a small army. Next time I'll try and use more "Bonine Humor".

Wont that tear a hole in the universe?

I like coming here and reading what the Bonine's are up to. And since it is a PUBLIC forum go ahead and visit and talk family. It's nice to see and good to hear.
Oh and Wade died in a car accident some years ago. So no more bullying. (From him anyway.) There are still plenty left though so spread the word. Welcome Christophersons.
