The Star has recently upped the amount of Stardust in the daily paper, adding 75 years ago. Anyone notice? Anyone have an opinion? I LOVE doing it but my elbow is bothering me this week and I wonder if should blame 1935 for the additional pressure.

Stardust is one of my favorite features of the Star. I've often thought that the way you do Stardust is to get the paper from 25 years ago, pick out some topics for the current 25 years ago segment, repeat the 25 years ago section from that paper's Stardust as the current 50 years ago, (now) repeat that paper's 50 years ago as the current 75 years ago, and then go find the paper from 100 years ago to write the 100 years ago segment (or if they had Stardust 50 years ago find the paper from 50 years ago and repeat its 50 years ago Stardust column).

Oh, I'd blame Wendy. Looks like you two have something in common to "kvetch" about.

I enjoy it too, Amorette. Of course I'm a little closer to the '30s than many so can relate to the stories. We enjoy your work and have most of your books.

I think the addition to the Stardust is wonderful...brings back lots of memories and brings to mind many people of the past! Keep it up!
