Steadman check forgery
Posted by VLC (+51) 9 years ago
What? No discussion about Eric Brandt's ex-"fiancee" forging a Steadman's check? I am so disappointed in all of you.

Well, that's where you are incorrect.

Rickenhawk would go with the moral equivalence argument. You know, having impure thoughts = forging a check (ALLEGEDLY) = murder in the eyes of God. We're all sinners. Something like that.

I heard once that Eric was gay. Is it just me, or does Brian sound like a scorned lover? First Eric walks on water, then he is evil incarnate, then he's just a victim of wanting to help everyone, and now he's back to being the devil again. I've seen scorned lovers before and this is not healthy.

OMG I never knew there was so much fun in Mc.com history! (still mother-cancer lady posts, and subsequent posts, take the cake in my book.)

Why keep wallowing in this? Eric Brandt and Alice Maloney are horrible people. They screwed many people, and maliciously slandered others.

Is there some kind of enlightenment to be found in celebrating what was only a matter of course anyway? Eric and Alice will eventually make a bed big enough that they will have to permanently lie in it.

And as long as that bed is very far away from myself, and those I hold dear, I'm happy.

I got suckered in to their line, and paid for it heavily. I lost a marriage, two jobs, and my home. But I still don't see the point in reveling in their stupidity, or propagating their lies.

MOVE ON (Brian).

Eh, I think we've come to the point where we can just go ahead and redefine 'strawman' as 'anything Rick says' since that's the only way the mc.com definition of usage stays coherent.

But as a policy, I try to stay out of most things local. Not worth the headache.

Like the combined hindquarters of Mr. Ed, Flicka, Hidalgo, and the entire Budweiser Clydesdale team put together.

Gunnar also said: "Hopefully you have gained some wisdom in the past 2 years."

Yeah, I sure hope I have too.

Smiley: That truly was one of Eric's greatest works.

I'm embarrassed to see my post defending Mr. B. in that old thread. Oh well, at least I took him on later in a different one.

Perhaps we are all guilty of putting our faith in someone who let us down at one point in time or another. I'm sure the people who supported George Alan Rekers, Marion Barry and/or Roger Clemens get embarrassed when reminded, "Oh hey, remember when you supported/defended that guy, and he turned out to be a (insert favorite euphemisms for hypocritical gay men/coke-heads/steroid users)?"

Frank: I was doing the comic for a few months, until I realized I was motivated by anger, not enjoyment. When I stopped being angry, I had no more inspiration.

Plus, by that time I was becoming distracted by a beautiful Russian woman...

Webmaster! How about some amnesty for Buck?

Wonder on what planet he is living these days?

Curiosity had me wondering this as well....so, with the power of Google, we find that Eric is an editorial writer for the Greeley (CO) Tribune:

http://www.greeleytribune.../912099971

Any surprise that Eric hates Christmas?

This is my favorite:

Eric Brandt of Greeley is a Colorado native, a submarine veteran and an electronics technician by trade. He is studying at Aims Community College for a degree in nursing following technical-field layoffs.

Technical field layoffs! A victim of the economic downturn!

FYI, Buck has his posting privileges reinstated. I guess it is up to him to decide if he wants to visit this site again or post or not. He's probably pretty pissed (above the norm).

Poison: I thought it was twins and didn't she lose them. I didn't look back but I remember something about her being pregnant with twins and she had a broken leg. Somebody was mad because they parked the car in someone's way. Those were the best MC.com days. I want to hear her side of the story

Also, I don't think we'll be hearing her "side" of things unless 1) Eric poses as Alice again or 2) they allow internet access in prison. Word around the campfire is that she's already under investigation for identity theft, but you know how campfire stories go.

Ron h: it seems that, in my experience anyhow, the people that say things like "you need a life" or "wow, you sure duz gotz you too much time on them thair hands of yerz" are themselves usually deprived of a meaningful/enriching existence, and generally fill the void by going around telling other people that they "need a life." But I am sure you are the exception to that.

Hello Everybody here in regards to the Alice Maloney case!

I live in Colorado and have come across these folks. I am slowly learning of the past situations. I am a business owner in need of some more detailed info.

Would anybody on here that knew much of the details be willing to speak to me?

Very concerned business owner in Colorado.

Thank you.

Reply to Bridgier (#378266)
I think I have already figured that part out and much more. The purpose of this outreach to learn some more things about her. A post on here mentioned something about her fake cancer in which rang a bell. With that said, I suspect she has not learned any lessons from being in prison. I also suspect there may be mental issues. I am looking to see if anybody here can direct me in the right direction to speak to somebody indirectly. (No names mentioned). I am a business owner who just bought another company and she currently works there but something does not feel right.
