LOL really. Why would you link my private facebook anyway? I just want to know what you think is horrible about it, then maybe I'll consider what you have to say.

LOL, what can you even see? My picture?
"Oh god, she is so ugly."
"ewww."
"BLECKK."
"Icky."
"Damn."
"HAHAHA."
"Where's the beef?"
"Holy crap."
"cupcakes..."
Those are the only things I can THINK you could say about my profile. Maybe that makes it the worst. Oh well.

(heads up) If you add ?=73322363 to any profile, it stays the same. Facebook Prank. So when you click on it, you see your own profile.
Posted by (+3745) 13 years ago
Oh for crying out loud. You mean that if I log into Facebook, my account will come up and if somebody else does the same THEIR account comes up when they click the link?

Me too Smiley.
Frank, you got me. Got me BIG TIME.

Yup. Basically it is a 404ing link on facebook. But facebook doesn't 404. It just redirects you to your profile page. :P
Posted by (+2332) 13 years ago
Plus Kyle. When have you seen Frank ever directly attack someone? He is the most funloving guy on this forum! :P
Posted by (+3745) 13 years ago
That's why I was so surprised to see that my profile came up.

Ok come on Bridgier say it. I'm one of the more gullible people on Earth

Oh, you weren't the subject of my comment. My innate pedantry kicked in and I almost corrected someone in a public forum. I'll just send a private email and leave it at that.

The term "cotton ball" comes to mind, but Bob L. will take the high road...

Thanks, I started crying because a photo of my grandson jumped out at me and I didn't want his innocent picture out in cyberspace. You got me on that one! Wow!

I got the joke...the only thing that is a bit disappointing to me is that, after "Smiley's" response (second from the top), I thought it was HER profile that the link led to...so I logged-on because I was curious to see what she looks like.
Smiley and I have had an exchange or 2 here at MC.com (it was respectful, I think; we sort-of agreed to disagree) and, though I don't really know her I thought I could put a face with a name...I'd doubt I'd "friend" her, either, only because I'm kind-of picky about who I allow on my list there. I limit mine to people I have actually met and have memories with.
Oh, well.

Those of us who do not have Facebook pages are gratified to see that those of you who do, are just as stupid as we thought you were.
Now, go on about your business, discussing the Jonas Brothers latest tour and the Lady Di conspiracy theory.....

The joke was see-through yet very informative. But thank you for the link, I was to lazy to type in the URL to play bejeweled..

What happens in Facebook should stay in Facebook and not be made public on MC.com.

You're cutting a pretty wide swathe there Gunnar. A lot more people here use Facebook than the fishing access sites.

Another sure sign of the moral decay of America.
While you all were Facebooking each other today, I was using two of our Montana Fishing Access Sites.....Fish Trap (where I put my raft in) and East Bank (where I took my raft out) on the Big Hole River. Beautiful sunny day, temperature in the low 80s, rafting amongst the snow covered peaks of the Pintler mountains.....and I caught 4 rainbows and 1 fat brook trout.
So there.

Oh jeeze Gunnar. I've had a more fun day than you. Sitting at the radio station listening/controlling 2 baseball games and the Shrine Game... Which is still going. Yup, fun day for me.

Plundering poor innocent Oncorhynchus mykiss from their homes (by fraudulent means no doubt) is more "moral" than maintaing personal relationships via the internet? Really?

Me, I was working, beating bluetooth GPS connections into submission.

I think internet pranks like this are hilarious. Neat thing about this one, and what happened here, it shows how quick people online are to go off on one another. Based on a misunderstanding, especially. And an ignorance of cyber trickery, technically.
Excellent trick.

I facebooked, checked out mc.com, hauled in some fish and still had time to meet with friends to share a pie and down a couple pints. Somedays life is pretty darned good and others it's even better ; -)
