Last week I caught a program called "Thats Montana" with Northern Ag Network's weather man John Pulasky. I was planning on posting something about the program with the web site link
http://www.thatsmontana.com/
Then just today I saw a promo for the next program and it highlights our own -- Gene Larson.

Gene do I have this correct? I didn't see when the program airs. Thats Montana does have segments on their web site. This must be a pretty new program. It's sort of a commercial version of the award winning Montana PBS program "Back Roads of Montana".

Speaking of online video, MT PBS has a tremendous on-line video delivery system.

I actually should make this a second post.

Anyway, back to the original. Gene fill us in with the details and don't be shy.

Gene told me, so i'll fill ya in.

Sunday morning during the 9am news he will be on, and again during the 10PM news. If you happen to record it that would be great, as I will be working and busy.

Edit: Not during, after.

Well, alright then.....I'm almost AFRAID to see it myself!!!

"THAT'S MONTANA" is a new program, headed by John Pulasky and his crew. It's a half-hour-long venture and features two or more Montanans on each program and it looks like Sunday's will have two of us "Kansans" on the program.

The crew took over my apartment on May 11th. a hot steamy day under hot lights. Then later I met them over at MAIN STREET GRIND and did some "walks" over there. But have no idea what they've done for the program, I'll be seeing it for the first time, too. Unfortunately, the program will be seen on SEVEN ststions across Montana. Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, Helena, Great Falls....UGH!

The running times tomorrow (Sunday) are, according to the promo, 6:30 / 9:30am and right after the Q2 News (at approximately 10:35 PM) on KTVQ. GOD BE WITH YOU!!!!!

I feel like a doofus. I Thought Gene Larson was the person behind the Farside Comics... It's actually Gary Larson! LOLzies. Good Luck Gene! Hopefully they do a good job on your program

Thank you Bart and Smiley!! The subject himself was rather HIDEOUS-LOOKING, but they did a great job with WHO they had to work with. Ha!

Smiley, you're not the first person to slip into "The Farside" when my name is mentioned. We both have lived in Seattle and when people have that associated thought, I get a kick out of telling them he's my BROTHER. Ha! Ha! But I always end by telling them the truth!

I didn't catch the morning program. It airs again at 10:35 p.m., is that correct? I checked the web site and they haven't put the program on line yet, which makes sense.

So, did anyone see Thats Montana today?

"Good to the last dot."

That was really good. A nice segment (nearly 15 minutes long) on Gene and his work. I hope the segment is posted fairly soon on the "That's Montana" web site so everyone can catch it.

Good for you Gene. We truly are fortunate to have you and your work will endure.
