For all of your non-surgical medical needs, go down to the Billings Clinic and ask to see Dave "Magic Fingers" Smith. He's clean, disease-free and will accept payment in chickens.

There is 2 excellent providers in Terry 35 miles away. Its worth the drive over. You can call and get right in the same day or walk in and be see within 2 minutes. The cost is cheaper for the visit then Miles City as well.

I heard somewhere that Dr. Rauh was pretty good.

I second that the Terry providers are excellent worth the drive! Went there last month and was in an out and they knew exactly what was wrong with me.

Dr. Rauh is no longer practicing and live in Arkansas now.

I second the Dave Smith recommendation. When I was in MC several years ago and suffered that nasty bout of constipation, Dave was the man.

Dr MacMillan and Lynn are both incredible! We take our kids to Dr Young at the Billing's Clinic though...he's the greatest pediatrician we've ever been to and his staff is wonderful.

All the staff at Holy Rosary are great, Randy Holland PA is wonderful with sports medicine. Call 233-2500 for appointment with any of them.

My Family has seen Dr. Wallick who is a chiropractor for many different conditions and ailments.
He has taken care of us very well over the years. He can perform x-rays and exams and is very honest and will refer you to medical care if needed.

Prices are way cheaper than clinics.

I highly reccomend him.

I thought I'd noticed Dave quit biting his nails so much lately.

If you have young children, a chiropractor can't give vaccinations or treat infections. They also cannot provide gynecological or obstetrical exams or advice for women. They aren't trained to. While they are great at what they are meant to do, they are not trained in general medicine and should not be relied upon to provide those services. There are many excellent health care providers in this area, for which we are lucky.

Yes, Amorette, we are very fortunate to have some of the best doctors in our little town and to have access to the traveling specialists who are willing to save us a trip to Billings.

I am delighted to have Susan Gallo as my doctor, one of the greatest doctors I have known (and I was married to one)! She's a real and honest country-style doctor and is always open to suggestions about your personal health. There was a time I had my own alternative to a prescription, something that had worked for me in a safer way and without the side-effects, and she was all for it. She's very pleasant to work with.

And she is yet to "give me the boot" for teasing her mercilessly at times! Ha! Ha! One real down-to-earth Lady. SHE'S number one in my book!

I've stayed out of this thread because as a member of the board of the Community Health Center, my recommendation could have been perceived as self serving. However, I'm no longer on that board, so I can now offer a recommendation with no reservations.

I understand that your are looking for a good "doctor", BUT I would strongly suggest that you consider nurse practioners as well. Miles City has two of the finest, most caring, and highly competent NPs I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

So please consider either Kathryn Lederer at the Community Health Center (2nd floor of the VA Building), and Joy Huber at Holy Rosary. I am certain that after you meet them, you'll wish someone had recommended them to you long ago.

I really miss Cathy Henneberry. I hear she is now at the VA, I totally trusted her. Also Dr. Drivdahl, I was one of her first patients and I wish she was still in practice but the ER is in good hands. Billings Clinic is the place to go but Kara and Joy at HRH are very good.
