Hello. So, I have only recently caught this thread and would like to add my 2 cents worth, with regards to the 'character' of this poor 'mother of 5 with cancer.'
I met her last year when she had a business called GUIDE TO A BRIDE - located in Lewiston, Idaho. She ran a formal and wedding dress store. I was closing one down and had the misfortune of consigning 46 gowns with her. When I met her she was perfectly healthy with no sign of illness in sight. Luckily, I had a contract with her and I made sure to describe every gown on the contract and list prices of every gown, also on the contract. It took my daughter and I 2 hours to fill this paperwork out and attach black and white 'boutique' price tags on each gown. I received about 3 checks from her for gowns that she sold.
Then , the communication ended. I contacted her via her businesses Facebook page and was shocked to hear back from the 'new owners' of the business. They stated that they had purchased the business from Krissie in May of 2015. I contacted Krissie directly and asked her what was going on. She stated that she was diagnosed with BRAIN cancer and had to let the business go. Of course, as a human being, I was heartbroken for her, but confused at the same time. It blew my mind that this 'cancer' had hit so fast. Still, I had no reason to doubt her story. She stated that she had sent letters out to all of her consignee customers, letting us all know that she had sold the business. I had never received any such letter.
I went to see the new owners after getting a letter from them stating that all consignment items had to be picked up at the request of their insurance. The new owners had been inundated with angry customers because Krissie had destroyed gowns that weren't hers, stolen money after the sale of consignment gowns or kept them for herself.
I went to pick up my gowns and was mortified with what she had done to them! There were stains, missing beads, rips and holes in almost all of them

. She had , also, removed all of my dress tags and replaced them with big yellow rental tags. She had been renting my gowns out to the public and pocketing the cash. She had also put a buy it now price on the tags, which was more than what I was asking. I figured that out when I cross referenced my contract with her tags. The new owners couldn't find most of my gowns as they weren't on the shop floor anywhere. They found them shoved in boxes or thrown on the floor upstairs. The worst one was a white wedding gown that she had thrown in the washing machine! (she admitted that to the new owners). It had a massive hole in the front of the gown - where it had become wrapped around the middle of the washing machine. 2 gowns were missing completely - 1 wedding gown had been promised to a young lady that is getting married this summer - and it is gone.
This is just my story , there are hundreds more. Since this post started 5 years ago, she has claimed to have non hodgkins, lung cancer, stomach cancer (there is a post on Facebook where she is thanking Argosy cruises for giving her a free cruise - as she had become ill while on her honeymoon cruise with them 3 years ago and found out she had stomach cancer when she got home!), a rare heart cancer and of course brain cancer.
I am really hoping that she did not get to much money from people on this post. She has made scamming a career choice. I am taking her to court next month, and I am hoping to have enough evidence to recoup the small amount I am asking for.
What is sad is that she has her children telling lies for her as well as her own mother. Twice her mother has posted on Facebook that she had just put her daughter in an ambulance for chest pains.I know of someone that called the main hospitals around her and guess what......NO KRISSIE!
I have found someone that investigates cancer scams and they are looking into Krissie and her activities. Hopefully we can all expose her for the scam artist that she is.
