So you are a "master of ceromonies" (mc) and you want people to check out a website that doesn't exist (www.fanrocketion.com) and then call a cell phone number out of Butte?

Sounds about right...........

No, no, you're thinking about Blind Spoon Melon and his Cowboy orchestra. They weren't really named Dave or Larry.

Dave and Larry was the sitcom where McLean Stevenson was a Los Angeles talk show host in '79 and he moved to Portland, Oregon to do a program with Les Nessman and Dr. Johnny Fever.

No no no! Dave and Larry are two of the three brothers from the Newhart Show. The third one left the show and started a career doing PeeWee Herman imitations with George Michaels.

"I'm Larry. This is my brother Dave, and this is..."

If you actually only knew. At one point I did work with two other developers named Darryl.

Dan - The answer to your question is Billy Redden.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w...lly_Redden

How flattering is this: he was selected for the role because "the filmmakers found Redden to fit the look of the inbred and mentally retarded banjo boy called for by the book." Ouch.

He looks positively Glendivian, doesn't he?

I guess didn't realize that Ronny Cox was the guitarist. I'm so much more used to the older version of Mr. Cox. I always think of him from RoboCop and the Beverly Hills Cop movies.
