Ah, but centuries ago, a "pair of trousers" consisted of two separate leggings that were tied to a girdle. Think those stockings worn in medieval times. That's why two legs with different colors were popular. It took a pair of legs to make up your trousers. I could go on to explain the advantages to such a system but good taste forbids.

Not exactly an oxymoron but I was dressing my 18-month-old this morning and I found a shirt that has a cute design on the front and it says, "Look Who's 1" (as in one year old).

The size of the shirt: "24 Months"
