>> Ekalaka Lake

I like that

The only Montana-related palindrome I was aware before seeing that was the town NOXON.

Ekalaka doesn't have a lake... I grew up there, and the closest thing we had was McNabs Pond, and that's pitiful. Cool palindrome though.

The Evolution Of A Palindrome:

In the beginning, it's nice and simple, 7 words.

A man, a plan, a canal - Panama!
- - - - - - - - - -

Then it begins to grow:

A man, a plan, a cat, a canal - Panama!
- - - - - - - - - -

And grow. . . .

A man, a plan, a cam, a yak, a yam, a canal - Panama!
- - - - - - - - - -

And grow & grow. . .

A man, a plan, a cat, a ham, a yak, a yam, a hat, a canal - Panama!
- - - - - - - - - -

And grow & grow & grow. . .

A man, a plan, a canoe, pasta, heros, rajahs, a coloratura, maps, snipe, percale, macaroni, a gag, a banana bag, a tan, a tag, a banana bag again (or a camel), a crepe, pins, Spam, a rut, a Rolo, cash, a jar, sore hats, a peon, a canal--Panama!
- - - - - - - - - -

Until it something like this comes along - 540+ words.

Created by Dan Hoey, using a Unix program he wrote back in 1984.
