A Billings man remains hospitalized after a one-vehicle rollover near Roberts.
Brady Patch, 22, was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix northbound on Highway 212 when, at 4 p.m. and about two miles south of Roberts, it drifted into the oncoming traffic lane, Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Hagenbuch said.
Patch overcorrected, and the car went into a skid and went off the east side of the road. It then hit a driveway, went airborne and rolled at least twice into an adjacent field, Hagenbuch said.
Patch, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected. He was taken by ambulance to Beartooth Hospital in Red Lodge and then flown by helicopter to St. Vincent Healthcare.
Hagenbuch said doctors worked to relieve pressure in Patch's skull after he suffered from what appears to be a brain injury in the crash. Patch remains in intensive care at the hospital as of Saturday afternoon.
Blade Stiller, 27, of Billings, was a passenger treated and released Friday evening from Beartooth Hospital. He was wearing a seat belt when the rollover happened.
The Montana Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
I couldn't see that anyone else posted this, so here you go. I haven't decided whether or not I'll stick around to see if this thread veers the way I fully expect it to.
I put the over/under at 10 posts. I'm feeling generous.
On a more positive note, I hope that Mr. Patch makes a full recovery.
