Good video, and I agree with it...I think I read somewhere that a Baptist minister added the "under God" phrase and it stuck for some reason...

That says it all. While people like that hold power, oppression will linger in the United states.

I think that we should go back to the good old days. Where only white, land owning, men could vote. That way we can put women back into the kitchen where they belong. Back to a time when we can own slaves and no woman should be able to own land except when there husband dies until there minister finds them a new suitable mate.

Why would modern Evangelical males want to go back into time and create a society where women are second class citizens? I think the answer to that is self evident. Enjoy your uterus because it will soon belong to society- of white, religious males.

Think your wife would be willing to start calling herself "OfBrady"?

Power to the white, heterosexual man!

This annoys me, when a genuine issue comes up, people have no answer but that of humor.

This is a plaque in my office which I believe in called:

MY CREED

I do not choose to be a common man, it is my right to be uncommon-if I can. I seek opportunity-not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence. The thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of Utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bed to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid: to think and act for myself, enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world boldly and say, this I have done. All this is what it means to be an American. by Dean Alfange

Stephen, I don't believe that laughter necessarily undermines a genuine issue, and I don't believe that is the spirit with which these comments were made. It's just nice to lighten up once in a while.

"Comedy is defiance. It's a snort of contempt in the face of fear and anxiety. And it's the laughter that allows hope to creep back on the inhale." ~ Will Durst

Yes, and your laughter is in defiance to the fact that religious beliefs in the government makes certain groups of individuals seem like less of citizens. There is a time and place for comedy, generally after the issue has been dealt with.

If you knew anything about me Stephen, you would know this is absolutely not the case. I firmly believe in, and fight for, the rights of citizens, all citizens, on a consistent basis. The same can be said for Bridgier and Stone. Just ask around.

But, it's your right to believe as you stated. More power to you.

I know brigidier(spelling) Is, I have no idea about Stone, he seems like a decent guy. I'm just saying that their are ignorant people seeing the way it is being joked about and will not give the concept any thought.

I am not sure what you guys are talking about but my post was 100% serious and I believe it. Say good bye to your uterus, Denise.
