Dr. Nichols is also practicing in Miles City, located on Pleasant across from Chamber and I would recommend him for his assessment skills. Second opinion stories are always entertaining, so here's one: referral from our local dentist to Kovacs, kid (12 yo) looked like he needed orthodontist help. Kovacs said yep, get him in now for braces and pay me $6000. We thought, lets try a second opinion. Dr. Nichols said xrays looked like kid might need a bit of jaw/tooth development (Kovacs did not ask to see xrays);Nichols asked us to wait on braces for six months to see how things developed. Saw Dr. Nichols at six month follow up and he asked why we wanted our kid to have braces...reminded him of last visit six months ago and he said waiting was not only good for the kid but obviously our pocket books. That being said I have heard many stories of folks being very satisfied with Dr. Kovac's work. I am just one of those happy people who are glad I never have had to spend time or money on him. Kid has great smile.
