Let's give the people of Miles City the "pat on the back" they deserve. Who have you seen give exemplary service, a friendly smile, helpful advice? Which stores and businesses in our town make us proud to have them here?

Ditto GW, also adding in Jaci @ The Mystic Salon. She is always friendly, makes great conversation, and she also cuts your hair great!

Also GW, don't forget the extremely friendly feline at Quad K. One nice thing there!

Don't forget the crew at Brewsters! Not only do they make the best coffee in Eastern Montana their crew is always friendly and courteous. Terry has done a magnificent job of producing a coffee menu that is second to none.

I would give Kudo's to the RAGE HAIR STUDIO. I always got my hair cut there and i was always happy with the results. but when i called last week they were rude and unpleasant at me wanting a hair cut. Now im out looking for a new salon. Any suggestions for a nice friendly place?

Discovery Pond is great. Despite my overexhuberant granddaughter's behavior when we arrive we are always treated kindly. Anyone who runs an ice cream store and a toy store has my vote!

For taking on the task of getting the MilesCam up & running after Eric Brant did his best Robert Irsay, I'm nominating Josh Rath.

BTW, Josh, how's it going getting everything set up? Have you found a place willing to house the cam?

I totally agree with Discovery Pond - amazing service, always, and amazing advice when it comes to my darn stubborn cockatiel.

As a amateur handyman, I'd like to give props to all the hardware stores in town Steadmans, Probuild, and Bloedorns. I've moved around the country a lot and I've never been in a place were everyone who works at both places is extremely knowledgeably and always helpful.

Let's hear it for all of those great people out at Ft. Keogh who have given us the wonderful Line 1 Hereford bulls and cows over many years. Eastern Montana wouldn't be the same with out them.

I'd like to give a shout out to the fine folks at the Short Stop Conoco. For twenty years or so, I stop in there once a year to purchase a pornographic magazine to take to hunting camp, and in all those years I have never gotten a fish eye or disapproving look from those manning the cash register.....they take my money like the professionals that they are, and ask me if I would like a sack (I always turn the sack down, being a green kind of guy.)

I'll have to go back and add to this as right off hand, I know I will forget someone. First, the great people at Mac's Ford; the awesome Gallagher crew that are like second family; Laurie B. for always believing in us at First Interstate Bank; Joleen at Midtown that takes care of me; several special Wal-Mart employees that go out of their way to help me (not the ones that run the other way); Osco Pharmacy; Big Sky Pharmacy; Ace Hardware. Last, but not least....my doctor Joy Huber who I can always count on! Tori

I see Kafe Utza and Discovery Pond and Ace Hardware and Albertsons which are all personal favorites. I must add Riggs Camera & Gifts where I stop in to say "hi" when I am in town even when I have no business to transact. I always feel welcome there. And of course there is the Public Library. But I can't say anything nice about the Miles City Star or the Historic Preservation Office, because I have relatives there and that would not be impartial.

Bloedorns has been good to me for the last 7 or so months...I was doing a remodel and didn't know what the hell I was doing for some of it....like the carpet. That let me know what is the best thing to do...how to do it...oh yea and the plumbing, same thing there. Made the job alot easier and the prices were good to!

Kudos to Gunnar.

When Gunnar sets up a micro-brewry in MC, THEN we can give him kudos for a great tasting beer.
