Monday's child is fair of face;
Tuesday's child is full of grace;
Wednesday's child is full of woe;
Thursday's child has far to go;
Friday's child is loving and giving;
Saturday's child works hard for a living.
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
is fair and wise, good and gay

A Wednesday's child here - and yes, have had "woe" in my life; but don't feel as though it has been greatly MORE than anyone else's life.

I am a Thursday's child, and this current move that I am going thru has to be the longest in recorded history...Hopefully in just a week or so it will be over...

I don't know what day I was born on but I think all of the above are true for me .

I was born on a Wednesday. Woe is deep sorrow, grief or affliction. I have had many blessings in my life but I have had way more than my share of sadness.

For those who don't know what day they were born, just google the calendar for the year of your birth.

Sounds about right.

Friday's child is loving and giving

I try to be a loving and giving person. I am not so sure that is always true.

As the oldest of 13, it makes sense I guess that I was born on hump day.

Let's just hypothetically say someone is a Sunday child... let's define "gay" in this situation...

I am a Sunday's child and am certainly bonnie, blithe, good and gay, which is the way I learned it. Although I like wise, too. Yup, generally just darn superior all round.

Heeheeheehee.

Tuesday here. Guess I have something else in common with Bridgier, besides an enjoyment of antagonizing Ricky.

Speaking of whom is a................Sunday baby!

Well, when I am following someone from IOWA over the bighorns it stands for Idiots Out Wandering Around.

What did you have in mind as a definition?

Before I looked it up, I was hoping my b-day had landed on a Saturday as I do work hard for my living and for my daughters and am proud of that fact...

...alas, mine was on a Monday. I don't think I'm fair of face, but I do pride myself on other qualitles that are more important than looks, anyway.

Wednesday's child. Until I was in my late 30's, I was on top of the world. In my 40's, some woe. 50's has been literally sliding off the side of the world with much sadness, but I am still holding on with my fingers (LOL - if you have no laughter, you have lost) My goal is to climb back up, but damn grief has a way of knocking you down when you least expect it. Nevertheless, I will not let go.

I'm a Saturday. I don't work that hard though. Or perhaps I do. I don't know. I guess I'm undecided.

Tuesday.

Folks often tell me I am full of something, but I've yet to be told that I'm "full of grace".
