I'm pretty sure there's more than one. I know one of them is a rainbow pond.

I'm guessing your talking about the Henry Haughian trout pond. The FWP stocks it with rainbows every year. I know there have been some people ice fishing this year. I heard of some luck earlier but haven't heard recently. It's on the Cap Rock Road. You turn off the highway at the Pellet Mill at Kinsey and go north. There is a sign at the turn off to the dam. Right now a snowmobile is the only way to get there.

The Daniel Haughian reservoir had large mouth bass and northern pike. I'm not sure what the condition is there. It may have went dry or winter killed. You can also get there from the Cap Rock road but it's quite a drive and you have to know where your going.

The FWP office should have maps.

Pretty sure that is where we went. If I remember there was a fire hydrant out there as a marker. Sure looked funny amongst the sagebrush.

Yep the fire hydrant is between Kinsey and Saugus.

You can also get to the bass dam going by the Clark Reservoir over by Cherry Creek. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Hey Ben can you get water out of that fire hydrant! I remember on the N-N ranch you could get water out of the fire hydrant in the dugout pasture. Joe Johnsons Jenson Jack at Parkers did not put out much water is what I was told.

We used to fish both ponds years ago, Henry's is for Trout and has a bunch of tires in the shallow end, or at least it used to. Dan's is a bit rougher road as I remember but mostly Smallmouth Bass, I've never caught a Pike in there but some claim to. If they are anything like they were 10 years ago they're good places to fish and fairly large. Silvertip was another one, great Trout fishing at dusk and dawn, they were jumping all over, can't remember how to get there though. You might need permission for these but not sure on that.

Get the FWP book if they still have them. Great resource with maps and directions to every pond.
