It must depend on the department you're in because at my office they did interviews today and plan to call the sucessful candidate with an offer tomorrow.
And just an FYI for Amber; but most state jobs cannot accept just your resume, they need a state application and often times have supplemental questions. Many times the local office doesn't accept applications, they must go to the head office in Helena to be rated prior to the local office even looking at them. So just to save yourself some time look online or call the office first to make sure you send them what they want/where they want because each one requires something a little different.
