What are the chances of getting an acurate map posted on the site? Not just of the city but the county also? Had someone from out of town wanting a good online map that showed city limits and we couldn't find one! City Hall was of no help to him, nor was FWP!!

I know I have a flood plain map somewhere. I can down load it and add it to my Flickr, if the MAN can add it here that would be great. Let me find it.
It tells city limits and things too.
Also has zones in it.

The thin yellow line is the City Limit. You may need to hold down your control key and use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in a little. I can also email the photo if you like.

Here is the county: There is a thin white line between Custer and Prairie County in the upper right-hand part of the map. I cut most of the rest of photo on the boundary. The lighter square in the center is where Miles City is located.

Thanks Richard! Hope the webmaster can get some sort of link posted for future use, but this will be great for now.

I edited Richard's post to add links to the images, which will display a bit larger than they do here.

Why not just go to Google earth and be able to pan in out and move?

I don't know about Miles City, or Custer County, but having worked in local government mapping for many years I can guarantee that if there is any annexation activity at all the town or city limits on maps like Google will be almost always out of date. The only definitive source is the town or city itself, or the county if they maintain the official maps.
