Has anyone seen Jeff Dunham in a large venue? He is going to be here in the Tacoma Dome next month and I was wondering if it loses something in translation by watching via big screen or with binoculars (heaven forbid!) It's too late lat this point to get primo seats.

I'd say if you cannot be within 500 feet of him, you lose the magic. Plus your arms will get tired.

I saw Jeff in California, in a small comedy club, early in his career and he only did about 20 minutes of material. He had the abilty to make you feel like he was performing for you alone, which made the evening extra special. Because of my experience, I can't imagine seeing him in a larger setting, but if it is your first time, I'd suggest you went. It's hard to find anybody funnier. I thought he used just enough off-color material, to be "down to earth," but not so much that it was obscene. At the time, I saw him, he only used 2 characters; Peanut and a puppet he doesn't use any more. I have never been able to remember who the other one was. If there is somebody out there, that remembers the name, would you please let me know? It would be most appreciated.

I saw him perform at the Metra in Billings earlier this year adn it was fantastic! He did a fabulous job. Even though I was in the nosebleed section we still had a wonderful time and they had gigantic screens with which they projected video of him as he performed. I truly enjoyed it and certainly hope you do too!
