Regardless of who you are or what you believe in, there are a number of symbols that command respect. In this country, I would like tho think this song is one of them. I have heard it countless times, and it still brings a chill when sung.

Well done girls.

Very talented young ladies. Version was too countrified for my tastes though.

I'm with Sharon! They did a FANTASTIC job!! Most of the kids at our public schools don't even know ALL the words!!! I'm afraid that these youngsters are missing out on how much history is in that one song. How their grandparents and greatgrandparents shed blood, sweat and tears to make sure we have all the freedoms we enjoy. We are so worried about being PC when we should be worrying about being PATRIOTIC!!

It was nice, agreed.

I'm more a fan of National Anthems being performed the way they were written.

If you ever get a chance, visit Ft. McHenry in Baltimore which was the site of the inspiration for our national anthem...That is fascinating to tour IMO

I LOVE America the Beautiful. Plus, normal human being can sing it. I wish it had gotten picked as the National Anthem.

Rhonda Vincent, the First Lady of Bluegrass, is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at the NFL Chief's/Charger's game in K.C. this Oct. 25th. She's done it before at NASCAR events and bluegrass festivals. A durn good way to start the game off imho!
