I'm not surprised given the nature of his strain of cancer, but am still sorry to hear this. R.I.P indeed..."Dalton".

Roadhouse is my all time fav. Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot, what a pair.

Truly saddened by his passing. He was an awesome actor.

Think all should see this video and the wonderful relationship he had with his wife, who had also been a dance student at his mother's studio.

I have some friends, ex-laws, in-laws, etc. members of husband's family who took lessons from Patrick's mother here in Houston. She was legendary.

I have watched the video at least five times and it brings tears to my eyes to know he has died.

I saw his last interview on 20/20 with Barbara Walters, and while it was sad to see how much his body had deteriorated, he was very insprirational in mind and spirit. He was truly a "human" being and not just another Hollywood actor.

I saw an interview promoting Wong Fu and he said, when he saw how big his wrists and hands were, it bothered him. His mother was very ladylike and he hated to look so much like her and then have those big manly hands. So he wore bracelets and gloves when he was dressed as a woman. Watch the movie carefully and you will see it!

"Moran"

The preferred method of spelling "moron" by morons.

Heath H. - I think your statement was extremely rude. Statements made like that on this kind of a thread just makes you the "Moran".

-----------------------------------------------------------------

With that said . . . I guess it just shows that nobody is exempt from death. Are we ready?

http://funnyvideooftheday...ition.html

Yes, the genius portrayed in this, the single greatest sketch in comedy history is surpassed only by the bifold tragedy of each man's untimely demise. Woe is to those who never experienced this, the most important one-skit comedy duo ever to grace the stage of theater. Nay, the stage of mankind itself.

In this one dawning moment of glory, the virtual remanifestation of Laurel and Hardy brought into the modern age of physical comedy, all seems at once right, and yet wrong with the world.

You will be missed, gentlemen.
