I dog sit or we watch dogs at our place. We have other dogs so they would have to get along with others. The vet clinic knows us well.

Sorry, don't intentionally mean to hi-jack your thread, but I'm wondering what the dog owners of MC would think of a doggie day care for socialization and recreation of their 4 legged family members with a dog park and extended boarding? I know both vet clinics board, but the "potty breaks" as well as openings are extremely limited.

Darn! I thought this was going to be a thread about enhanced interogation techniques.

Dixie, that's great to know. The animal clinic was full for the weekend; i wasn't sure what we were going to do with our dog until this week and of course i was too late. We are just going to take our buddy dog with us but i will keep you in mind for next time.

Miles City Veterinary Clinic boards pets as well. I think their number is 234-2559 (I think I have it memorized! LOL)

Excellent work, Kelly. I was thinking it might be a new extreme sport.

I would highly suggest going to Erick Phillips at Controversial Canine. We took our dog out there and we were extremely happy. You can find her on the directory of Milescity.com, under Controversial Canine.

Kelly and I are on the same wavelength, even if he doesn't know how to spell interrogation.

I imagine dog boarding being where you are tied upside down to a plank and your face is covered with rancid chicken and then about 12 dogs lick your face until you talk.

My mom used to have a doggy darcare in Roundup, and she did very well
I think a dog boarding business in Miles would do good. I have an old dog that I have to take with me when I go out of town because he has seperation issues,(that will get pleny of stupid comments)I have often thought where and if there was an old build cheap to put suck a business...keep me posted

I think a doggie daycare would be terrific. I think we do have someone who walks dogs and will go to your home to tend to your animals. At least we use to. I know that our dogs love to socialize with other dogs and I'm sure there are others who have dogs who would be happier not being left alone. If they offered boarding too, it would probably be great. I wonder what kind of license or insurance a business owner would have to have to open one. Anyone know?

Need a dogsitter while your on vacation? I will go to your house 4 to 5 times a day and let your dog out. I will spend time playing with the dog and take the dog for a walk. I charge $10.00 each day I go over to your house. Call 234-1444 or 1-406-560-2102. If I ever win the lottery, I will build a dog boarding kennel in the Miles City area, because all my life I have dreamed of working with dogs.

I think I heard Michael Vick say this on ESPN about 4 years ago.

My dogs are dying for doggy daycare. I am living in a camper with 40 and 95 pound dogs. We go for walks but it is not the same as being able to play and run. Be sure to let me know if one opens! Behavior tested and vaccinated!
