I’m delivering the last two purebred highland steers of the season to Quality Meats of Montana. These are 2.5 year-olds that I’ve raised from calves following the Quality Highland Beef Program. They’ve been grazing organically grown pasture their whole lives with supplemental, local hay over the winter. Finishing has been on lush, irrigated grasses and forbs. Prices are $2.30/# hanging weight for halves and wholes, $2.50/# for quarters. You pay for USDA processing. Should be ready to pick up with your specified cut instructions about Nov. 10. Call 852-0815
