Russell and Dorothy Churchill leased the Travaskis ranch in the spring of 1939. After leasing the ranch for five years, they bought the property in 1944. The four Churchill children attended the Pine Tree School which was built of logs by Sal Cain and Russell Churchill. During the seven years the school was open it was attended only by children of these two families. After selling the ranch at Stacey to Sal Cain in 1956, the Churchill's moved to a ranch on Sarpy Creek, near Hardin. Ann is married to Robert Shy and they now reside in Custer County. They have two daughters and one son. Georgia married Charles Raschkow and now lives in Helena, Montana. The Raschkows have one daughter and one son. Shirley married Gene Steadman and now lives at Broadus, Montana. They have two daughters and a son. Alan married Suzanne Trudeau and they live at Roundup, Montana, with their two small daugthers. Dorothy and Russell Churchill sold their ranch at Hardin in 1959 and moved to the Roundup community, where they are now ranching.
