The season is finally here and started with an exciting finish to the Bud shootout. Kasey Kahne looks really good in Ford and took second. Kevin Harvick won the race. Hopefully, Hendrick Motor Sports (part of the sports axis of evil along with the Raiders, Chargers, and Chiefs) will have some competition this year.

Are they all still turning left four times?

NASCAR - boring as hell.

And the season is longer than freaking bowling season.

Lets see....I think I will go out on a limb here again and make some bold predictions:

1) Jimmie Johnson will win it all.....again.
2) Dale Jr. won't win a race.

Yawn.

If it turns out that Jimmie Johnson has a slew of hidden mistresses, maybe the season wouldn't be so dull.

Nascar is awesome... as long as there is an awesome wreck every ten seconds..

I'd be willing to bet the "People of Nascar" website kills "People of Walmart".

By the way. Dick Trickle is the man!

NASCAR just isn't what it used to be. Somehow I have lost interest in it. Meanwhile, keep in mind that real racing occurs every Saturday night at the local tracks that anybody, even you and I, can bring a car to. That is real racing. Support it every way you can. I know this is hard to do in MC, there is no track, but whenever you go somewhere else, check out the action at the local oval. Stateline Speedway (Spokane area) is my favorite. Have fun!

I'd rather spend time with the average NASCAR fan than the average Harvard graduate. smile

What is an average Harvard graduate like?
