Trump and his enablers are getting desperate. Releasing this memo will do nothing but harm our national security. Unpopular Donald will never be able to vindicate himself from Russian collusion. Sad!

What a guy like Donald Trump, Jr. doesn’t understand (just like Tricky Dick Nixon didn’t understand) is that there are some situations that you cannot lie, cheat, steal or manipulate yourself out of. Trump and the Republicans are thinking that by casting doubt on the FBI they can turn public opinion against the Mueller investigation. Think again!

Donald Trump, Jr., the draft dodger with 5 deferments, and the self-described business genius with 6 business bankruptcies (so far) should not underestimate Robert Mueller, a Princeton grad with a bronze star for valor and purple heart.

Even if Trump fires Mueller, the FBI investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election will continue –- especially the money laundering part of it –- the part that deals with treason. Also, if he is fired, Mueller can testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about what he has learned so far in the investigation.

So, stay tuned.

Jim Wright is a retired Navy intelligence officer. He gives a good rundown of the memo and why Nunes needs to be investigated by the FBI.

I like what former FBI Director, James Comey, said today on Twitter:

"All should appreciate the FBI speaking up. I wish more of our leaders would. But take heart: American history shows that, in the long run, weasels and liars never hold the field, so long as good people stand up. Not a lot of schools or streets named for Joe McCarthy."

I would add that there are not a lot of schools or streets named for Tricky Dick Nixon either! In the long run, it will be the same for Trump. Stay tuned!

"The Single Sentence You Should Read" by Karen Tumulty and Rosalind S. Helderman, Washington Post, February 2, 2018

"Though President Trump and his allies hope that the controversial release of a GOP-written memo alleging surveillance abuses by the FBI will tarnish the legitimacy of the entire Russia probe, that argument may be undercut by a single sentence buried near the end of the four-page document.

It confirms for the first time that the event that set the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation in motion was not the surveillance of Trump adviser Carter Page — a subject upon which most of the memo dwells — but rather that it was opened as the result of information the bureau had received about another person connected to the Trump campaign.

That other individual is George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy consultant who in October became the first person associated with the campaign to plead guilty in the special counsel’s investigation. He is now reported to be a cooperating witness."

As a young man starting a family while seeking a higher education is no easy task. Your right, you've repaided what little relief was available too assist a young family many times over. I'm sure your example of good man is instilled in your children. Regardless of our political bias, the best we can do is be a better man. That sir is no easy task, You are there.

Now too the DEBATE. HITLER'S GERMANY, Kind of a hard core comment. But to the thrill of the debate.
So here it is ISKCON. Yup the modern Liberals is like HARE KRISHNA...We all like the chant. Oh hail OBAMA, as he has anointed HILLARY, She do no wrong. ;^)

because when the war was over, everyone who wasn't caught in a nazi uniform swore up and down that THEY didn't know ANYTHING about all those death camps or terrible deeds - THEY were good germans who totally would have stood up to the nazi's if only they'd known what was going on.

But... someone votes for these people, someone supports these people, someone profits form these people.

Now, here is your moment, snowy - Nunes and company appear to be trying to discredit the FBI, even though Mitch Mcconnell asked them really nicely not to say anything about their investigation into Trump's russian ties during the election - the President of the United states is using twitter to directly attack another elected official, declaring that failure to clap during the State of Union is 'treasonous', etc etc...

YOUR MOMENT IS NOW SNOWY, and you're failing. You're putting the party first, and the country can go to hell, as long as it means you don't have to file an EIS before you start strip mining for coal.

You are failing, and all this conservative talk about 'supporting the troops' and 'remember their sacrifice' is just a bunch of words, just wind out of your ass, because YOU DON'T CARE, as long as you can somehow make a stupid hillary joke, or claim that the reason colstrip is being shut down is OBAMA.

You're failing.

Nunes supposedly made changes to "The Memo" before sending it to Trump. After reading it I can guess what he did. He dumbed it down to about the third grade reading level so Trump might actually be able to understand it.
