"Two Words That Should Scare the Trump Administration: Grand Jury," by Jack Holmes, esquire.com, August 3, 2017

"Special Counsel Robert Mueller has convened a grand jury in Washington, D.C., as part of his probe into Russia's interference in the 2016 election and whether associates of Donald Trump colluded in that effort, The Wall Street Journal reports. The step represents a new phase of the Justice Department probe, of which Mueller took the helm in May not long after President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey. Investigators had been using a separate grand jury in Alexandria, Virginia, prior to Mueller's arrival as they looked into the dealings of Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser who was dismissed after lying about his phone call with the Russian ambassador."

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—The special counsel, Robert Mueller, just called Donald Trump to tell the President that he was “the most innocent person ever,” Trump told reporters on Thursday.

“It was the middle of the afternoon, and he just picked up the phone to say how innocent I was,” Trump said. “He said I was the most innocent person he’d ever come across, and maybe in history.”

“He said he had been over all of the evidence and that he and his staff would spend hours just looking at each other in amazement at about how unbelievably innocent I was,” he said.

Trump said that he asked Mueller why, in his opinion, the media had reported so many stories about his campaign colluding with Russians. “Bob said to me, ‘Are you talking about the failing New York Times and CNN?’ ” Trump reported. “ ‘They have been very unfair to you. They are bad (or sick) people. Sad!’ That’s what Bob said to me.”

The conversation wound down with a series of “pleasantries,” Trump said, with Mueller complimenting him on the size of his 2016 victory, including his enormous win in New Hampshire.

Trump lies as easily and as reflexively as most people breathe!

"On Tuesday, it was the Boy Scouts’ turn: A leaked transcript of an interview the president had with The Wall Street Journal quoted him saying that the head of the Boy Scouts had called him full of praise for a highly political speech Mr. Trump had delivered at the National Scout Jamboree.

'I got a call from the head of the Boy Scouts saying it was the greatest speech that was ever made to them, and they were very thankful,' Mr. Trump told The Journal. On Wednesday, the Boy Scouts of America said it was not aware of any call from its leadership to Mr. Trump. In a statement, the organization said that an earlier statement from Michael Surbaugh, the organization’s chief, apologizing to scouts for Mr. Trump’s speech, 'speaks for itself.' Mr. Surbaugh had expressed regret to those who were 'offended by the political rhetoric that was inserted into the jamboree.'"

Trump also lied about a phone call with the President of Mexico.
