There is a lot to keep track of regarding the Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election.

If you feel the need for a quick review, this article, "What we know about U.S. investigations into Russia and possible ties to Trump’s campaign" by Daniel Bush is a timeline of events starting in May 2016 up until the beginning of today's hearings.

The hearing was informative. Former Acting Attorney General, Sally Yates testified that she twice told the White House that National Security Adviser, Mike Flynn was compromised in regard to the Russians and vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians. I found it interesting that Yates was fired shortly thereafter and long before Flynn. It took the White House 18 days to fire Flynn, and his firing occurred only after the Washington Post published a story about Flynn. Apparently, Trump thought he could make this story go away by firing Yates. We shall see what develops next.
