I have a 1972 half ton 4x4 pick up for sale. It is red in color, fleet side long box with nice oak plank bed. Newer Kelly Safari TSR 31x10.5x15 with lots of meat still on the bone, wrapped around a nice set of 15x8 rally wheels with all the center caps and beauty rings. Body is straight, few minor cosmetic blemishes. Glass all solid, no cracks. For a power plant, under the hood lurks a brand new rebuilt 454 chevrolet engine. The block was out of a 1982 K3500 pick up. Heads are the larger intake port casting 781 heads. I have refinished the cast aluminum Mickey Thompson valve covers. HEI distributor. Block was bored .030" over stock by Barneys Block and heads, I installed flat top pistons in lieu of stock dished pistons. Edelbrock Performer 2.0 intake. New water pump when rebuilt. All brackets, pulleys have been painted. 6 blade flex aluminum fan. It has stock exhaust manifolds, and brand new 2.5" dual exhaust, with flowmaster 40 series mufflers, done by Jacks Body Shop. The original muncie SM465 4 speed transmission was replaced by a TurboHydromatic 350 3 speed automatic, and power is still distributed through the NP205 transfer case. Battery is 2 years old. Excellent running truck, lots of potential for a proper restoration. Also has a brand new Reese tow hitch installed under the bumper, with wiring harness for flat four plug.

The engine is the pride and joy of this truck, and engine is where the money is.

The odometer reads 32,xxx, but that could be 132,xxx or 232,xxx. Who knows.

I am asking $5000 obo. Call Joe, 906-280-3180 if interested or want to come check it out. I can text some pictures, and will have some pictures posted here.
