| The next chapter of the Spartacus Saga on Starz, starts this Friday night. Has anyone seen the previews? I saw them last night after a replay of the last two episodes of Blood & Sand. I thought I saw very brief glimpses of Quintus and Lucrecia Batiatus. Did anyone else see this and if so how do you think they will work them in since the characters were killed? |
| Someone correct me if I'm mistaken, but I don't believe Lucretia was killed. I did think Quintus was dead, however. |
I actually got to see it on some odd channel through Direct and DVRd it Sunday. If you want some spoilers, keep reading.
I am sorry for my spelling...I don't know how to spell their names correctly.
Lucretia is still alive...although she is still in shock or has some kind of post traumatic syndrome. She doesn't remember much. It is kind of difficult to understand the time frame from which this episode begins and the original season's last episode ended. It seems to be at least a month as the House of Batiatus lies in shambles and members of the dead from the last episode have been removed (blood stains appear old)...they show Lucretia's scar from the sword wound of Crixus' blade...it appears to have healed quite a bit.
Glaber has been commanded (by Ilithyia's father) to go back to Capua and destroy Spartacus' uprising. There is some inner battles between the renegade members of Spartacus and Crixus. But they are on the same side at least. Batiatus is dead.
At this point Spartacus is all about killing Romans and eventually getting to Glaber, while Crixus is all about finding Naavia. Spartacus and Mira seem to be in relationship.
Oenomaus is still stuck in the middle it seems. He hasn't really joined Spartacus and Crixus, but has given them help telling them about Glaber's return. It seems that he may go back to the arena...he no longer wished to be called Doctore.
