It's that time of year. Snot factory season. My current cold is mostly nasal and hasn't sunk into my lungs yet but I am going through tissues as if they were. . .tissues. How about you? What bug do you have this winter? |
None so far, thankfully....**knock on wood** Or knock on Bridgier LOL**

The only cold I had in 2011 was in December 3 days after I attended a funeral at the Lutheran Church. I had not been to this church the entire year. I immediately upped my intake of Zinc and Jamison and it lasted only 2 days.
In prior five years, I had a cold and/or sinus infection on and off through most of the winter and early spring. My conclusion is that going to church is harmful to my physical health.
I use cold-eeze which is a zinc lozenge and it has always helped and shortened the duration of the cold. I think the Jamison helps too. |
| Both Steve and I have tried zinc and we trade shorter colds for upset stomachs. There seems to be no free lunch for us. |
| Nothing so far this year. We've all been healthy. |
Damn, Ammorette, it seems like you are always sick.
I had a cold that lasted less than a week in early March. Nothing since then, with the exception of a few bouts of very short term stomach flu (and the fact that I have been cleaning out my freezer and eating some 5-8 year old packages of venison is supected to be the source of that). |
| It felt like -35 the other morning. |
